Supplements Dr. Wdowin is currently taking;

  • Allergy Research, Pork PancreasPancreatic enzymes are a major part of my anti-inflammation, anti-aging and anti-cancer routine. They have decreased my blood pressure, crepitous, joint pain and other fibrotic adhesions in my ex-athlete body.
  • Designs for Health, Annatto Tocotrienols: Vitamin E is actually made up of a spectrum of separate tocopherols (alpha, beta, delta and gamma) and tocotrienols (alpha, beta, delta and gamma) with a variety of antioxidant and antithrombic properties. For cancer and heart health the most important fractions are the delta and gamma tocotrienols.
  • Nordic Naturals, Cod Liver Oil with LemonCod liver oil is a great source of EPA and DHA.  EPA plays an important part in cardiovascular wellness by helping to maintain healthy cholesterol levels, blood pressure and heartbeat.  DHA is essential for the proper growth and development of the infant brain, and appears to affect function throughout one's lifetime.  Low levels of this important fatty acid have been connected to increased incidence of depression, anxiety, dementia, and personality and behavior disorders.
  • Pure Encapsulations, ALA, 100mgALA or Alpha Lipoic Acid is a fat and water soluble antioxidant as well as a weak chelator of metals.
  • Pure Encapsulations, CoQ10, 120mg: CoQ10 is an important antioxidant inside the mitochondria where your body produces ATP or cellular energy. Supplementing with CoQ10 can increase the energy and function of all the cells in the body. Impaired mitochondrial function has been linked to heart disease, cancer, dementia and a large number of other health concerns.
  • Pure Encapsulations, NAC, 900mgNAC or N-Acetyl Cysteine is the precursor to glutathione (the body's major anti-oxidant.)  When glutathione is low, toxins can build up in tissues creating unwanted cellular damage and set the stage for disease states.
  • Thorne, BioMin IIMinerals are necessary for thousands of reactions in your body and we aren't getting enough.  Most processed foods are void of trace minerals because of the refining processes they undergo.  Even fresh produce can be deficient in minerals because our soils are becoming depleted due to years of over-farming, pesticides, genetic engineering, and picking produce when it isn't ripe.
  • Thorne, Vitamin B Complex:  B vitamins are used throughout the body in hundreds of enzymatic reactions.  They are needed for the liver's detoxification pathways, mitocondria's production of energy and the brains formation of neurotransmitters.
  • Thorne, Vitamin C, Pure Ascorbic Acid:  Vitamin C has a number of important properties and is a powerful anti-oxidant, anti-viral and anti-cancer agent.
